Winter hiking

The fact that hiking is exclusively a summer activity is a thing of the past - this form of exercise has long since become a year-round sport. The charm of the winter landscape is also a very special one. The thick blanket of snow, which seems to swallow up all sounds, and the unique nature, which shows itself from its most beautiful side, invite you to march cross-country or on prepared hiking trails. Hundreds of kilometers of perfectly cleared hiking trails await you in the Zell am See-Kaprun region - in the valley by the lake or also to alpine pastures with a fantastic view over Lake Zell. Step by step you will come closer to an inner peace and contentment.
An interesting, but also more strenuous form of winter hiking is "snowshoeing". Here you strap snowshoes to your feet and can hike with them through powder snow over meadows or on forest roads to beautiful, untouched alpine pastures - a very special experience.
